When we moved here I thought the only way I would be able to get seal meat/oil was by having it sent to me by cargo! Now here I am in Southeast Alaska butchering my own seal! How blessed to be living so far away from home and providing a subsistence way of life for my family!

Cut the whole seal and we have seal oil rendering,meat dry and happy bellies!
Thanks to watching my mom Marcia Pete and Gramma Maria Pete,they taught me well!
