Birthday Bash!

Girls 5th Birthday BASH!

I know, I'm a little late at posting the girls birthday pictures and ALL who attended! Lets just say "BASH" is the right word! Lol! We had family from Stebbins and tons of kids from St.Mikes. Sky and Ana had a great time, los of food, cake, sweets! So, we had some wild and hyper kids bouncing off the walls! But anyway, enjoy the wonderful pictures! Oh and the cakes took a couple of hours to decorate! Thery wanted a Strawberry theme. My neck was sooooo sore from looking over, but it was worth it! The expression on my girls faces when they saw the cakes! They didn't want us to put candles on the Strawberry girlie cake, so I had to make a separate cake to do just that...stick candles in it so tehy can blow them ou! Too Cute! You all had to have been there! Hey, don't the girls look like their Strawberry Shortcake cake?! Aaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! Lol!

Proud Parents of Our Headstart Graduates!

Graduating Class of 2007!

More of the girls headstart graduation

Sky and Ana's Headstart Graduation May 2007!

We had a pretty busy morning today! Getting ready for the dinner for the graduation, making sure the girls look perfectly cute, make sure we have new batteries in the digital camera and made sure we had front row seats so we can take some good pictures! We invited my parents from Stebbins, the girls wanted them badly to come over! They made it just in time to see the girls in their cap and gowns. They will be starting kindergarten this fall in a new school, Naknek, Alaska!

From Stebbins to St.Michael and now Naknek, Alaska!

I've lived in Stebbins, Alaska for 25 years and temporarily in various towns and cities throughout Alaska, Washington and Oregon. Also traveled all over the U.S. But have never been out of the country. Now 31, I have a fiance Drew, twin beautiful five year old daughter's Skylar and Adriana and a baby on the way this winter in November. I'd have to say Alaska is by far the most beautiful state in the U.S. We went on a rafting trip to an area I never knew existed. You'll find a post from last summer from the Nabesna River. I grew up most of my life if Stebbins.

This is George Washington Bluff. We also have a couple of guys with the name George Washington Sr. and Jr. What you think of that! LOL! Which is on the westcoast,Norton Sound region. We live on an island shared with another community,St.Michael. Which is just 13 miles east of Stebbins. We've been here in this small village of 450 people and like the quiet.

Here's Stebbins, you can see my little blue house with white trim with Stevens Hill (my great grandfather Alexander Stevens founded Stebbins)in the background.

This small part is part of St.Michael,Ak.

So, now...we've decided it's time for another change! A new community! Drew got a job as a teacher at Naknek, Alaska! Which is located further southwest on the Brisol Bay, Kvichak Bay region. Bristol Bay is made up of several communities with Dillingham and King Salmon as one of a major hubs out of Anchorage. We have alot to look forward to this year, meeting new people, a different working environment (new jobs and new staff), scenery, most of all, we love camping and fishing and heard that the Naknek River has the worlds class fishing for trourt that are about 30 inches long and weighing in at 10 plus pounds, among other fish, salmon, pike, white fish, grayling, dolly varden to name a few! Katmai National Park & Preserve! For anyone who loves fishing, camping, bear sight seeing, Naknek, Alaska is the place to be!
