Our Son at 34 wks 2 days Old

I'm here in Anchorage a little early than expected.I've been having complications with this pregnancy, not to worry nothing serious. But got some exciting news, he'll be here sooner than expected. He's not due till the 25th of November, but the doctors decided to induce me 3 weeks early on Nov.5th. He'll be 37 weeks old by than, so he will be full term. He's a health little guy and very active in my belly! Here are a few pictures taken on Friday and on Monday. Enjoy!

This Falls School Pictures

For the school year 2007/2008 we've decided to take the pictures ourselves instead of the school pictures. Why? Well, we figured it was cheaper and we get more for what we pay for. So, Addie the photographer has been taking pictures for the last two days of beautiful scenic, background! She has a good eye for good pictures! York Photo is cheap and you get what you pay for and more! We'll be sending you these pictures for their school pictures!

Drew's Work Of Art

Drew's had all kinds of small project through out the summer since we've moved here! But I'd have to say, this is by far the best ever! A beautiful coffee table made from recycled timber from one of the old docks they were tearing up to built a new one from the old canneries. Next project, a dresser for our bedroom. You all should see a bench/drawer combo he made for the local swimming pool while he was working there for the summer! Very nice! He has a good eye for making beautiful furniture and does great work with his hands, since being a shop teacher, he's been busy making a sauna with some of his high school students they'll be raffling off to purchase more supplies for his class!

Walk In The Woods

Yesterday was a nice enough evening for the girls to go out and play. They were out playing snowball fight for a bit. I had asked them to come inside to get they're jackets on and go for a walk around the house, in the wood and around the lake. They must have had a good time, cause they were out for a long time! they came in and said they had a great time, Skylar had to change her jeans cause she got all wet playing in the snow.

Being this far in the woods sure is beautiful! Gotta love the privacy of having your own yard, a cute pine outside your window, a lake below the house, trees surrounding you and the quiet. Well, except for some neighboring dogs and the electric company running 24-7, its actually a very nice area to have a home.

More First Day of Snow

Drew needed to run an errond this morning for one of his students, so we went for a drive and found this trail heading toward the river. We hung out there for a little, looked around and thought of how beautiful the snow was, the area and how nice it would be to have a house in that area.

Last night the snow started falling and kept on coming. Drew and I were laying in bed this morning and I heard Skylar waking Adriana and Addie up asking them to look out the window. You could hear the excitement in her voice," Look Adriana and Addie, there's snow outside!" Then I heard a thump, running down the hallway and into our bedroom, standing next to her dad and saying," Daddy, look out the window! There's SNOW! Can I go play out?!" She didn't want breakfast, she just wanted to go out and play! Adriana saw excited Skylar looked and jumped out of bed and decided to have some fun too!
