I'm set for the winter on herring eggs! I need to get a bigger freezer!
My up right freezer full with Sitka Herring Eggs,Wrangell hooligan,Wrangell Seal,Naknek dry fish and strips,seal oil from Koyuk,geese from Wrangell and 4 pieces of my last dried herring from Stebbins! :) I'm happy!
When we moved here I thought the only way I would be able to get seal meat/oil was by having it sent to me by cargo! Now here I am in Southeast Alaska butchering my own seal! How blessed to be living so far away from home and providing a subsistence way of life for my family!

Thanks to Winsten to the right he caught a seal and had me butcher it and take as much as I wanted! I took the seal fat to make seal oil,ribs and meat to dehydrate!
