The Larrabee Boys

We have had some amazing days here in Wrangell! I took the boys to the maple trees and got our school pictures taken there! I still need to take my girls there for theirs! The boys were getting tired of me taking lots of pictures! But they all turned out cute!
Lucas in 2nd Grade this year! He'll be 8 years old Nov.7!

My big baby boy,Sawyer in kindergarten this year and 5 years old!

My last baby, just too cute! And he knows it!

First time in school, he didn't a chance to go to preschool or head start last year!

My handsome boy!

My handsome boy!

Not sure what he's pointing at here! Lol! But, cute!

The Dock

Yesterday we went out berry picking and got back to town to check on our boat! It was a calm, beautiful fall evening! The ferry was just leaving Wrangell! The boys wanted to go with their dad to go check on the boat, girls and I were too tired to go anywhere,as you can see, they were asleep!

Our Girls on Track Team

Our girls are on their second year of doing Girls On Track! Our girls are always on top and such fast runners! Adriana ran last year, Skylar didn't,she said she wanted to focus on school work! This year Skylar lets Adriana run for her money! Those two are very strong runners! One day Adriana will finish first at practice, the next day it'll be Skylar! Sometime Skylar says,"I let my sister pass me!" Then she smiles!

Braces and Crochet Cowl

Hi MAMA! MISS YOU! Here is my updates! I will try to update it often! Here I am sportin' my mouth full of metal! I've dreamt of having these all my life! Lol! Now I have them and have notice results in just a few months of having them! I'll have them on till April 2017! Skylar will be next with braces! Adriana has a perfect set of teeth! Lucky girl!
I just trimmed my hair yesterday! Looks a whole lot better! I look a little tired here! I woke up at 530 and couldn't go back to sleep! Maybe I'm becoming like you! Haha! Here is my cute crochet cowl/neck warmer I just finished!

Beautiful fall colors!

Very nice and warm!

Love the neck warmer! I'm getting ready for the next bazaar soon!

Easy Southern Peach Cobbler

Easy Southern Peach Cobbler
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar, divided
4 cups peaches, fresh or thawed frozen
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
Ground Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Melt butter in a 11X13 baking dish in oven.  Remove from oven when melted.
Mix flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.  Add milk and mix until just mixed.  Pour batter into baking dish on top of butter.  Do NOT stir.
Bring peaches, remaining 1 cup of sugar and lemon juice to a boil in a medium sauce pan.  Pour peaches over batter.  Do NOT stir.  Sprinkle with cinnamon. ( I used canned peached, drain. Layer over batter and sprinkle cinnamon.)
Bake for 40 – 45 minutes until the top of the cobbler is golden brown.
Serve with ice cream if desired.

Recipe Notes: I know it seems weird to put the batter on bottom and the peaches on top but it works.  Your cobbler will end up with the peaches on bottom and the biscuity topping on top.  This is the best dessert I’ve ever made.  Ten out of ten.  YUMMMMMMMY!

A wild rabbit? Or possibly a domesticated one!

So we were on our way home last night 9/27/14 from Middle Ridge cabin and right around Pat's Lake we saw this white fuzzy thing! It was a rabbit! Just sitting there!

Our boys want to call him/her Iron Man! Lol! Cause "he" was so strong,he survived in the rain and cold! We are certain he/she was let out and left to,"Free"! Not cool when they were someones pet! Rather than giving them away or selling them, they left them in the wild!

No one has claimed it yet. So, we may have a new pet!

Poor thing!

But, he's in a good home!

Iron Man and the boys!

Home made donuts!

Adriana with her love donut! :)

Next day for breakfast,Sawyer enjoyed his love donut with lemon glaze!

You'd think my family and I would be over weight and unhealthy! But, nope! All tall and slim still! Lol! From the looks of all my baking posts, you'd think I'd own a bakery by now! This was my first time making donuts! It was an actually easy recipe as well as the pumpkin roll recipe!

Fried,cooling,soon to add the glaze!

Love that little face with his love donut!

My breakfast with a cup of white chocolate latte!
